Running my way through life. inspired and ready to take on what comes my way. high school cross country and track.

a-pure-guts-race:

Sometimes, when you have a good race or a good run or a good workout, it brings you back to why you started running. And it helps you focus on your goals.  Whether you’re a frontrunner or you usually finish mid-pack or you always finish last, it doesn’t matter - you know that feeling. And sometimes, it’s all you need to get back on your feet.

Blessed

days like today, I am just overwhelmed with a feeling of love and happiness.

I am so blessed. My family may not be rich, but they sacrificed to send me to a Catholic school. I have so many material things that I really don’t need. But most importantly, I have friends and family who have helped me to become who I am today.

Now to beat my PR from last year, 6:06, at my next meet.

Let’s get this done.
